Trains run out of Paddington Station quite regularly, direct to Bodmin – Parkway. It is a four to five hour journey via Exeter. It is then an hour and twenty minute bus ride to Padstow on a No. 55 bus, departing 25 minutes past each hour during the day – arriving at Padstow just over an hour later.

There is a bus service that runs to Padstow; a single fare is about £3.40. There are taxis that will take you directly to Woodlands Country House costing about £35.
There are two mooring areas – Rock and Padstow Harbour. The mooring fees in the all-weather, all-year-round, Padstow harbour is £2.10 per meter per night (7th night is free) and no restriction of length.
Access to the harbour is 2 hours either side if high water.
River mooring, £1.16 per meter per night to £4.16 per meter per week.
The moorings dry out at low water and moorings are restricted to a maximum length of 10 meters – 30 feet.
Mooring fees range from £48 to £72 per week depending on size of craft, moorings are not available in-between November and April in Rock.
For a similar price you can moor up on Commissioner’s Quay in Wadebridge – You can not moor with fin keels at Rock or Wadebridge!

At the back of the Victorian part of Woodlands Country House, we have re-designed the conservatory, the two ground-floor room into an open-plan living space with kitchen and sitting room and small private terrace, and new stairs to two en-suite double rooms.
