Gurney House is attached to Woodlands Country House, an award-winning Victorian bed and breakfast. The inventor; Sir Goldsworthy Gurney was born in nearby Avon Cottage in 1793. He invented the Steam Carriage and Limelight and lit the House of Lords in the 19th century.
There are two double en-suite bedrooms (one can be a twin), an open-plan sitting room and kitchen, with a cloakroom/utility.
