    • National Seal Sanctuary (40 miles)

      Open every day 9 am to 5 pm.  Check winter openings. Set on the picturesque reaches of the Helford Estuary, the Seal Sanctuary is a haven for some of the world’s most enchanting creatures. Every year the sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates and releases over 30 injured or abandoned seal pups.NB – any old towels would be gratefully received – all our old towels go there.
